When was the last time you truly took the time to chill and do absolutely nothing….. except breathe?

Each session is 60 minutes of semi-structured 1-on-1 conversation either in person or on video chat. What you say in sessions is confidential, so go off if you need to! We’ll schedule a time to meet. As long as we agree beforehand, we’ll both have a 10-minute grace time to show up to the session, because sometimes we could use a little breathing room in our schedules.

What your sessions with Breathing Room WILL NOT be like:

  • Me knowing everything it takes to have a fulfilling, successful, and content life for you. This isn’t a “what the coach says, goes” environment

  • Me giving you a ton of advice with the assumption that what has helped me will definitely work for you

  • A therapist who is qualified and trained to diagnose, address, and treat mental health conditions. Someone trained to help you return to “normal” baseline mental functioning

  • An authoritarian sports coach or teacher who tells you exactly what to do. Someone grades/reprimands you for your performance/actions

What your sessions with Breathing Room WILL be like:

  1. You will have a confidential and safe environment to freely speak what’s been on your mind without any judgment from your coach. This freedom gives you the breathing room to start figuring out some things for yourself

  2. You’ll be speaking to a professional listener who can connect the dots on what you’re saying and point out potentially helpful observations. Think of it as someone holding up a clean mirror for you, and the mirror will show what’s looking good in your life and what adjustments you can make to look even better

  3. You will be challenged to open up, consider different ways of thinking and courses of action for your life. This is where your growth really happens. You get to own what’s truly important to you and how you want to approach things

  4. You don’t just talk about what you’re going to do; we come up with action steps together so you can actually make progress. With your coach, you’ll have an accountability partner who follows up on the things you said you were going to do. With each step you take, we will celebrate the progress you’ve made—big or small—because all of your wins matter

Are you interested in life coaching but don’t know what you’d want to work on? Here are some questions to get you started:

  1. What’s been on your mind the most lately?

  2. What’s something that’s weighing you down that you’ve been putting off or totally neglecting?

  3. What would make your life 5% better?

  4. How would you like things to be different for you six months from now?

  5. Which areas of your life are genuinely worth investing your time, money, and energy into?
