To get to where you want to go, it’s possible that you need a space where you’re allowed to slow down first.
Each session is 60 minutes of semi-structured 1-on-1 conversation either in person (outdoors if you’re willing and able) or on video chat. We’ll schedule a time to meet. As long as we agree beforehand, we’ll both have a 10-minute grace time to show up to the session, because sometimes we could use a little breathing room in our schedules. What you say in the sessions will be confidential, so you can truly speak your mind. The first session is 75 minutes, free, and no contract so you can get a feel for what it’s all about. Simply message me here to claim your spot.
What your time with Breathing Room WILL NOT be like:
Me giving you a ton of advice with the assumption that what has helped me will definitely work for you. An authoritarian sports coach or teacher who tells you exactly what to do. Someone grades/reprimands you for your performance/actions
A therapist who is qualified and trained to diagnose, address, and treat mental health conditions. Someone trained to help you return to “normal” baseline mental functioning (see 0 in the graphic below)
What you’ll be able to say AFTER working with Breathing Room:
You finally expressed your goals, problems, issues, and intentions instead of keeping them all in. A professional listener was there to connect the dots on what you said and point out potentially helpful observations or patterns that may have kept you stuck
We didn’t just talk about what you wanted to do. We came up with a clear plan and you actually took actions on the things you said were important to you. You had trusted support the entire way
You were able to look at things from a different perspective, and that allowed you to take the right actions for yourself.
You were able to give yourself credit and celebrate yourself through big and small wins, because all of your wins matter.
You spent quality time, money, and energy to invest and care for yourself.
Your life improved in the most important areas that were in your control, moving you up on that scale pictured above. With this improvement, you have the knowledge that you can make progress in other areas of your life if you choose.
If you’re unsure of what you want to work on, here are some questions to get you started:
What’s been on your mind the most lately?
What’s something that’s weighing you down that you’ve been putting off or totally neglecting?
What would make your life 10% better?
How would you like things to be different for you six months from now?
Which areas of your life are genuinely worth investing your time, money, and energy into?
